How do you honor a century of cultural association without becoming a museum of it?
Coca-Cola has been part of moviegoing for as long as moviegoing has been a cultural ritual. That history is an asset, but at CinemaCon 2026, it risked becoming a liability. Cinema is moving toward premium, hospitality-driven, immersive environments. The audience gathered here included theatre owners, studio executives, and brand partners who understood that better than anyone.
The opportunity was to show how a brand woven into cinema's history could shape where the experience goes next.
The experience had to do two things at once.
The question that unified every environment: What does it feel like when a brand that belongs to cinema's past actively leads its future?
The architecture of the space had to earn that transition. Guests needed to arrive somewhere familiar and move toward something that felt genuinely new. I built the narrative framework, Always Refreshing, so three different zones could tell one coherent story.
The organizing principle: familiar cinematic cues become the foundation for something new.

Recognition before reinvention. Familiarity earns permission to change.
Guests arrived through one recognizable cue and moved through spaces that felt more contemporary with every step.
The Marquee anchored the space in heritage without sentimentalizing it: one familiar gesture before the transition. Genre-Forward Posters reinterpreted Coca-Cola brand cues through a modern editorial lens. Concession Culture defined the hospitality moment: elevated and social, reflecting the energy of premium theaters.
Instead of explaining itself, the space moved people through an argument about what moviegoing becomes next.
Coca-Cola honors cinema's legacy and actively leads the next era of moviegoing.
The environment made an argument.
CinemaCon's audience builds and operates the spaces where cinema happens. They recognize high-quality hospitality, pacing, and environmental design immediately. The Coca-Cola environment earned attention through coherence. Every decision reinforced the same idea.
Narrative architecture gives every design decision a shared direction. When the story is coherent, the environment doesn't need to explain itself.
